a poem about people

As I sit here on my stool
Look at the people in this dive.
I see another poor fool
Drowning the sorrows of his life.

Another poor sap of this land,
Screwed by the people in power.
As I look upon another callused hand,
I wonder what makes his so sour?

Has is loving wife left him
For another, more successful man?
Or did he lose his job
Outsourced, to another land?

I stay any wants of inquirey,
So he can wallow all alone.
I just watch tose eyes of weary,
Wondering who will give this dog a bone?
