Escaping the so called Rat Race is not such a hard task and anyone with an ounce of common sense and intelligence can easily make shift. But first let us look at the exact meaning of the Rat Race and what it entails.
The term 'Rat Race' is now a common term which more or less describes the daily '9 to 5' - which the majority of the working population are involved in. The rush hour in which herds of people go to and from 'work'. By work we mean the typical task of exchanging one's time and knowledge for a nominal wage. For the majority it is a straight equation and they 'have to' exchange their time and expertise in order to receive a monetary return in which they then pay the bills. No work no money.
The majority of people are so tied up in this scenario that their whole life passes them by. Oh sorry, did I forget to mention the fact that these people do get a 'holiday' each year - a measly four weeks, in a typical job. And that at the end of their '40 year sentence' they get
a pension, which barely pays their ever increasing bills.
The good news is that more and more people are getting akin to the idea of Escaping The Rat Race. You don't necessarily need to quit your job, more become less reliant! For example, you can use part of your salary each month to invest - there are so many ways to invest this money that is beyond the scope of this article, but I can assure you that with the right research and application you can invest in a way that the money earned from your 'investments' can replace your entire salary within a short space of time, depending on a number of factors.
More and more people are now starting a business - both an orthodox business and a home based business. I prefer the latter as it has a greater probability of giving you more freedom and provides a lot more flexibility. I would suggest starting a Proven Online Business that can build your earnings, and the best thing is the income can become residual, i.e. you no longer have to exchange your TIME for the MONEY!
