Led Christmas Lights

I am a 23 year old art student in Victoria BC Canada. I enjoy artwork in all forms, but like to Paint and take photos the most. I am on my way to becoming a teacher so that i can teach young students how to refine their artistic talents.
Hey all,
I just wanted to make a quick blog about these led christmas lights that are out. I realize they have been out for a few years but I still see normal christmas lights being used on trees and outdoors for decoration.
These lights not only save you A lot of money. They are much cheaper then they used to be. I found a set of 105 Led lights for sale at costco for 14 bucks. So not only do you save money on their power consumption but they are also very reasonably
priced compared to what they used to cost. They are considering "green" because of this, much more friendly to the environment.
You may be able to find a place in your area that will take your old strings of lights in trade for some money off a new string of LEDs. I know Canadian Tire here in Canada will do that and you could get a string for about 5 dollers.
Anyways, I'd just like to see more people using LED lights there is no sense in using the old ones anymore.
