I admit it.  I am a huge Jimmy Buffett fan.  I've seen him live around fifteen times and even got a satellite radio so I can listen live to the broadcasts when I can't attend. 

For me, it is total escapism.  The songs whisk me away to tropical paradise and remind me of my childhood growing up along the Gulf Coast.  I've also made some good friends who also follow the Pied Piper of Margaritaville around the country.  One of the most incredible shows I've seen was at Wrigley Field in Chicago. 
If you haven't heard of Jimmy Buffett, you should definitely give him a listen.  Everyone needs an escape now and then!
