Some say that poetry is passe, but in reality it is still going strong, though finding a place to have your sonnets published can be challenging.
Not that this information applies to me, I'm no poet by any means. If you don't believe me, just look here. Go ahead, it'll only take you a second, and I guarantee that you'll be as convinced as I am that I'm missing the poetry gene. With the exception of The Cat In The Hat, the only poetry that I like is Edgar Allen Poe's, The Raven. Yes, I know, it's poignant.
My personal preferences aside, I decided to take a crack at this subject
