Today Is A Good Day

I'm a poet, a writer, a thinker and dreamer. I breed dogs and think about how to make the world a better place. I love writing short, personal pieces, whether it be poetry, blogs or short stories. If I can make two people smile every day, then I know I've had a worthwhile day.
Today is cold, cloudy and dark. It's cold outside and it may rain.
Today is a good day though because, well, we need rain at the moment (it's growing season for the cops). It's a good day because the first of our litter of schnauzers is going off to her new home. The people who will own her are nice people and are thrilled with their puppy.
It makes me happy to make others happy,
and introducing a new puppy to their family will make them happy. Sure, ther'll be naughty moments, but the cuteness and love make it all worthwhile.
Today is a good day because my husband seems to be getting over his cold, my chilblains aren't anywhere near as bad. It's a good day because I'm going to spend a large part of the day playing with and prettying-up puppies.
Can anything be better than that?
