Do NOT set your ipod on the roof of your car . . . . .

I have been married to a great guy for 11 years and have two awesome kids. I have an Elementary Education degree, but am currently a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy reading, writing, scrapbooking, and family time.
This is a little tip that my husband learned the hard way. Do NOT set your ipod on the roof of your car while you are getting ready to leave for work! If you do this, you may just end up with a smashed ipod and a very sad state of mind.
My husband set his ipod on top of his car while putting everything else in right before leaving for work. He takes our son to school and got distracted and forgot to get his ipod. He drove my son to school which
is located on our street and then pulled out on a busier road. He wondered where his ipod was and then as he made the right turn saw something fall to the ground in the rearview mirror.
Well, needless to say, it was run over by a car (while in the case) and is completely broken in half. He tried to salvage the drive, but nothing could be saved! Oh, all the music, podcasts, movies, etc lost - well not completely since everything was backed up on the computer.
Lesson learned.
