First things first—I am a bookworm. I have a bad habit of remembering obscure trivia and spewing it at unsuspecting persons. My favorite genres are Fantasy and Historical Fiction. I am opinionated and still haven’t learned when to keep my mouth shut. I attempt to remedy this by speaking very little, which has the unfortunate side effect of causing my percentage of inappropriate, impolite, and out-of-place words to increase as my overall speaking declines. I have a habit of making things as difficult for myself as I can by any means possible.

As long as I can keep myself from dwelling on stupid things I have said in the past, I love my life. My parents, my two cats and I live in paradise. (In my opinion—yours may differ.) Everything—from my tiny room stuffed with books (I’ve seen walk-in closets that are bigger), to our craggy, cliff-like beach, is wonderful. Of course, there are a few small irritants—laundry, cat-box and people-bucket duty, biting insects, graphing in my math lessons—both by hand and our exceedingly contrary graphing calculator—and the eternal dish-washing cycle. Fortunately all these are far outweighed by the benefits—the incredible and ever-changing view, the freedom, the lack of the All-American need for the Bigger! the Better! and the New!, the friendly and knowledgeable neighbors, the welcoming town nearby, and the local library—my source for books and social instruction, my home away from home.
